The Varaschin winery was founded in San Pietro di Barbozza around 1930 by Matteo Varaschin, one of the "fathers" of winegrowing in Valdobbiadene, who passed on his oenological art to his sons Luigi and Renzo and later to Orfeo and all of his grandchildren. Varaschin is located among the vineyards in the heart of Prosecco-shire and of the prestigious Cartizze, which is produced in this area only. Since 2019 our marvellous hills are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Varaschin wine cellars are located in the square of San Pietro di Barbozza, in an ancient building, which is also home to the Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Brotherhood, a reason of pride for the Varaschin family that wishes to be a testimonial and participant in this association established to protect the quality of the product and the local territory. The select customers are a guarantee of the superb quality of its wines.
The Azienda Agricola Boggero was founded at the end of the 19th century in the municipality of Vaglio Serra, a small town in the heart of Monferrato.
Boggero includes approximately 8 hectares of vineyards located on the hills of Vaglio Serra and Nizza Monferrato.
It is an area suited for the high quality of Barbera perfectly fit for producing first-class Nizza and Barbera Superiori.
Our jugs feature blended soil types; from the more clayey one where we produce the grapes of our Barbera D'Asti Superiore Tutti i Frutti to the sandier ones where we obtain the production of Nizza and Barbera D'Asti Superiore Fiore Di Bosco.
