Machanyan family winemaking traditions started from small village named Aylur situated near Van. The name of the village came from the river Alluria, which flowed around the village. Inspired by the family winemaking traditions coming from several centuries we created Alluria wines from Armenian indigenous grape varieties grown in our own vineyards.
We are creating Natural wines...

JRAGHATSPANYAN WINERY - From Tradition To Mastery
THE JRAGHATSPANYAN HISTORY In Armenia, the ancient cradle of viticulture and winemaking, 6100-year-old traditions are passed down from generation to generation, reaching our days. Having moved from Western Armenia to the Blur district of the historical capital of Armavir, famous for its ancient winemaking traditions, our ancestors planted vineyards, in 1890s built underground cellar and produced their own wine, passing on traditions to generations. Having winemaking traditions inherited from ancestors, a winemaking facility and an underground cellar, the process of making wine and combining it with food has always been an integral part of the daily life of the Jraghatspanyan family.
TERROIR - The winery and vineyards are in the Ararat valley, in the village of Bambakashat, Armavir region. Climate is continental with 300 sunny days per year. The vineyards are at an altitude of 860 (± 5) m above sea level. There are 3 different soil layers, ranging from clay (60%)-sand (40%) to sand (60%)-clay (40%) composition, with a depth of 4-24 meters of underground artesian waters. Soils with high groundwater levels produce very high-quality grapes with a balanced content of sugars, acids, aromatic and phenolic substances. Jraghatspanyan Winery is a boutique winery located in the Ararat Valley of Armenia, a region renowned for its exceptional terroir and deep roots in the Ancient Wine World. GRAPES - The largest viticultural region of Armenia, sunny Armavir has a lot of unique terroirs. Since this region is prone to winter frost, a rare fan-shaped vine training system is used which uses multiple arms pruned close to the ground, which makes the vine easier to bury in the winter to produce prevent frost damage. The farming is traditional-sustainable, the training of vines is gobelet, traditional multi-arm, vine age 30-70 years. To produce our wines, we use high-quality grapes of the following Armenian grape varieties: Garan Dmak, Kangun, Tigrani, Karmrahyut, Dolband, Muscat vardabuyr.
PRODUCTION - The company has set itself the task of developing the region's viticulture and producing exceptionally high-quality wines, revealing the best processes of growing and processing grapes of the terroir.
Before the founding of the company, for 15 years the grape varieties in the area were researched and the processes of their winemaking were determined.
During this time, the experience of cooperation with winegrowers has been accumulated and over the years a unique scheme has been developed and improved. The cultivation of vineyards is monitored, for each vineyard is determined the level of maturity and the date of harvest. Continuous experimentation has been at the heart of defining each of our wine technology and will continue to be an important component of improvement, with the aim of creating wines that reflect the character of the terroir as closely as possible. By processing the harvest from different vineyards separately and using different technologies, we uncover the potential of every vineyard and obtain wines of different styles, which are then carefully blended in different proportions to achieve balance, roundness or complexity. Annual production 40000 - 50000 bottles, annual production capacity - 100000 bottles
Keush Family Wines is a family-run winery and incubator that produces five distinct wine brands: Keush, Zulal Wines, Oshin Wines, Molana Wines, and Hekiat Wines.
Introducing KEUSH, a sparkling wine that embodies resilience and craftsmanship. Nestled in the high-elevation vineyards of Khachik village, our century-old grapes thrive in volcanic and limestone soils. This region stands as a testament to the indomitable spirit of those who cultivate the land. Situated in geopolitically unstable zones, our vineyards go beyond winemaking—they safeguard our borders. The grapes from this unique terroir undergo the méthode traditionnelle, resulting in a sparkling wine that mirrors the dedication and strength of the people and land from which it originates.
Meaning "pure" in Armenian, Zulal was founded to push the boundaries of viticultural exploration in Armenia. Through meticulous vineyard selection, we work with the noble Areni and Voskehat grapes that grow in the high-elevation, volcanic soils of Vayots Dzor. On our journey to rediscover rare or almost forgotten indigenous grape varieties, we take pride in having revived seven grape varieties, each with its own unique story to tell.
Enter the world of Oshin Wines, a heartfelt tribute to the medieval Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia and its visionary ruler, King Oshin. Inspired by his quest for peace and prosperity, Oshin Wines embodies the enduring spirit of the Armenian people. Our winemaking artistry revolves around the Areni and Voskehat grapes, known for their thick skins that have stood resilient against Vayots Dzor's extremes for millennia. Each sip reflects the harmony of tradition and the enduring strength of the land—Oshin, where the legacy of a kingdom lives in every bottle.

It shares, with its immediate neighbor Armenia, the privilege of being one of the birthplaces of viticulture.

It became possible to realize the winemaker’s long-standing dream, right in the area of the vineyard.
